Competition

Our position as a sportsbook means that our primary competitors include firms such as FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, and Caesars Sportsbook. These companies currently comprise much of the sportsbook market, although none have much of a presence in the NFT arena.

Draft Kings is known for their betting experience, complete with many daily promotions, but we intend to compete toe-to-toe with them on this front. We also aim to match BetMGM in their proficiency for bringing in new participants as well as Caesars' luxurious look and feel.

As we develop our marketing strategies, we acknowledge the use of sponsorships and endorsements in our industry. This is seen from FanDuel in their deal with the Pat McAfee Show and Jamie Foxx's work with Caesars.

Given this information on our competitors, we will strive to make our app accessible and navigable, targeting both regular sports bettors and people interested in NFTs and cryptocurrency. We will emphasize our role in this new frontier, campaigning on social media, at sporting events, on internet sites, and through commercials, among other avenues.

TAM and SAM

Our TAM will consist of sports fans, gamblers, and those of legal gambling age (18+ in most places, 21+ in others). To narrow down to our SAM, we will target TAM members that are in their 20s and 30s and are active online. The rationale behind this decision is relatively straightforward: people younger than their 20s are less likely to have money to put towards gambling (and may even be unable to legally participate) and people older than their 30s are less likely to understand NFTs and cryptocurrency, even though they might have adequate financial resources.

To access this SAM, we will look to sponsorships. To accomplish this, we aim to become a subset of an NFT marketplace, providing them with sportsbook expertise to broaden their reach and increase their profitability. This development will allow us to have the resources to pursue high-profile sponsorships, as we have seen our competitors engage in. However, we will separate ourselves by enlisting sponsors that are already active in the NFT arena, such as Tiger Woods, Simone Biles, and Derek Jeter.
